Lifting beams serve to engage a gate to crane hooks remotely during lifting and lowering of hydrotechnical gates and trash racks.
A lifting beam can have one or two grabbing devices and serves an intermediate link between crane and gate or trash rack sections.
Engagement and disengagement of sections in slots is performed automatically with a grabbing device.
